Let's talk about your business

Celebrate Evansville Is Here!

June 10, 2015
Redstitch Team

Celebrate Evansville is our gift to you, and it’s here.

We created this two-and-a-half minute showcase of Evansville, Ind.’s most beautiful historic and cultural landmarks for a few reasons, which you can read more about here.

All-in-all, we shot more than 7,500 HD photos, which we stitched together in post-production and scored to local music from Mock Orange. If you’re interested in what went into creating the video, be sure to check out our “Making Of Celebrate Evansville” video.

A little bit of backround

The project got its start back in November 2014 when we were kicking around the idea of shooting a handful of professional time-lapse cityscapes to be featured as backgrounds on the new Redstitch website. From there, our efforts began to snowball, as all worthy creative endeavours tend to do.

Our community is comprised of so much more than we could ever show in two-and-a-half minutes. There were several more locations we wanted, but time and resources ultimately dictated the final location-count. We did, however manage to feature:

  • Mesker Park Zoo
  • The Old Post Office
  • Gerst Haus
  • Willard Library
  • The Four Freedoms Monument
  • Several Locations Downtown
  • The Ohio riverfront

  • Henderson’s Ellis Park

  • Reitz Home
  • Audubon State Park
